Settings is one page for your account, your workspace and the agent. This page maps every section and links to the pages that cover the deeper ones. Project-level settings (aspect ratio, background, end behaviour) live in the Settings panel inside a project instead; see Project settings.

Open Settings

Choose Settings from the account menu on Home, or open app.goframe.dev/settings directly. Search settings… at the top of the left column jumps to any option, and the Active workspace is shown at the bottom of that column, because Workspace, Invites and all Agent sections apply to the workspace you are in.

Account → General

  • Profile: your avatar, name and email.
  • Language (under Interface): English or Русский.
  • Theme: the colour theme for the whole app. Choose from Original, Cursor Dark, Cursor Dark Midnight, Monokai, Solarized Dark and Abyss (all dark) or Cursor Light.
  • Default layout for new projects (under Projects): Agent (“Chat-first. Preview and media appear when the agent produces results.”) or Editor (“Full editor: timeline, media pool and canvas — for hands-on editing.”). As the section says, “Each project remembers the layout you used last — this only applies to projects you haven’t opened yet.” See Editor layout.

Language and Theme are also in the account menu, so you can switch them without opening Settings.

Account → Workspace

Details of the active workspace. Projects, memory and rules are isolated per workspace.
  • Name: how the workspace appears in the switcher.
  • About shows the workspace ID, Your role (Owner, Admin, Member or Viewer) and whether this is your Personal workspace.

Account → Invites

Your monthly invite quota, Create invite, Copy invite link and the Referral rewards (+200 credits when a friend joins, +1,000 more when they go paid, +100 for the friend). Covered in Sign in and beta access.

Account → Shortcuts

“Pick an editor preset or rebind individual actions. Chat shortcuts are listed in the chat help overlay (?).”
  • Preset: goframe (Default), Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve or Final Cut Pro. “Industry layouts remap timeline keys; unchanged actions keep the goframe defaults.”
  • Actions are grouped under Playback, Editing, Tools, Markers & zone and App, with Search actions… to filter them. Click Rebind next to an action and press the new keys when the row says Press keys…; it is then marked Custom binding. Revert to preset puts one action back. Not bound means an action has no key.
  • Conflicting bindings: warns when two actions share a key.
  • Reset shortcuts → Reset all goes “Back to the goframe preset and remove all custom bindings.”

Agent sections

These four sections shape how GoFrame Editor Agent behaves in the active workspace. Each has its own page; here is what they hold:
  • User Prompt: Workspace rules (persistent across every project in the workspace, good for brand voice, style rules and shared conventions) and Project rules (the current project only, edited from inside a project). The agent reads both on every turn.
  • Memory: persistent memory the agent keeps across sessions. Workspace memory entries are shared across every project in the workspace; project-scoped entries appear when you open Settings from inside a project. Add entries by hand with Add memory and pin the important ones.
  • Editing Voice: the tone and verbosity of the agent’s chat replies: Professional (default), Playful, Silent operator, Teacher or Custom, where you write your own guidelines.
  • Permissions: Always ask for anything above (USD), Monthly spend cap (USD, 0 = no cap) and per-skill Auto-approve / Always ask lists.

Advanced → Usage

The header shows what the agent and paid generation skills used in this workspace this month (for example “$0.00 used in September 2026”); Breakdown and Recent events below show where the credits went. See Plans and credits.

Session and agent diagnostics. You won’t need this day to day; support may ask you to open it and share what it shows.

The account menu

On Home, the account menu (your avatar and email at the bottom-left of the sidebar) offers Settings, Invite friends, Language, Theme, Documentation, Copy User Id and Log out. Inside a project, your avatar sits in the rail on the left. The menu has no billing items: to buy credits, click the credits counter in the project footer, which opens Top up credits.
